As a Director of Sales at Milestone, you will:

  • Connect with senior digital executives in hospitality to understand their needs and challenges and present solutions using Milestone's product portfolio.
  • Build, lead, and grow your own book of business, selling the full portfolio of Milestone software and service solutions to senior and C-level executives at hotels, management companies, independent hotel groups, and hotel chains.
  • Drive significant growth in a designated geographic territory for both new and existing business, achieving or exceeding individual quota.
  • Develop pipeline through a combination of strategic account prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, conferences, and internal SDR lead generation support from hotel and hospitality-based companies.
  • Build and track all opportunities in the company Salesforce system.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process by partnering with Sales Engineers, Product Team, Executives, Centers of Excellence, Customer Success, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing customer feedback to the Product and Marketing teams to help improve solution offerings.
  • Represent the company in a business-closing role at industry conferences and trade shows.
  • With some assistance, build customized sales presentations, respond quickly to RFI/RFPs, and prepare final contracts for customer sign-off.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Consultative sales experience selling to senior executives in hospitality
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets and quotas and exceeding the numbers
  • Familiar with digital marketing - CMS, Websites, SEO, Paid, Analytics
  • Use of Salesforce or equivalent CRM software
  • Communicate effectively across departments, particularly once a deal is closed and transferring details to the Onboarding Team
  • Creative, flexible and a team player
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person/phone
  • Flexible to travel
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in hospitality
  • Commitment to high standards and adherence to company policy
