About Role:
Milestone is seeking a visually exceptional and design-forward Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the visual design and digital experience for enterprise websites, hospitality platforms, and premium digital products.
This role is first and foremost about visual craft. We're looking for a designer who can create stunning, high-end UI that feels premium, intentional, and modern — not templated. The ideal candidate brings deep visual expertise in layout composition, typography, spacing, and hierarchy, with a secondary understanding of UX thinking and user-centered principles. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to shape digital experiences that are both visually elevated and conversion-focused.

Key Responsibilities
Visual Design & Experience Craft
- Lead visual design direction for enterprise websites, hospitality platforms, and premium digital experiences
- Craft high-end UI layouts that are visually distinctive, conversion-focused, and free from generic template aesthetics
- Build polished, pixel-perfect designs using Figma — from initial wireframes and user journeys to final high-fidelity UI
- Translate complex product workflows and content hierarchies into elegant, intuitive visual interfaces
User Research & Validation
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and user validation activities
- Gather insights from customer behavior and feedback to improve product experiences
- Apply user-centered design methodologies to validate design decisions
Design Systems & Visual Consistency
- Build and maintain scalable design systems in Figma — including component libraries, style guides, and interaction tokens that teams can scale across platforms
- Ensure visual consistency, typographic precision, and design quality across all web and responsive experiences
- Define and drive visual standards, motion awareness, and modern UI best practices across projects and teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Customer teams to align business and design objectives
- Participate in client discussions and help solve complex UX and business challenges
- Present design concepts and storytelling frameworks effectively to stakeholders and customers
Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Mentor and guide junior designers and contribute to design team growth
- Stay ahead of emerging design trends, digital aesthetics, and incorporate AI-assisted tools (Figma AI, generative workflows, design optimization) into day-to-day production
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Improve design productivity, scalability, and workflow efficiency
Ideal Candidate Profile

Your portfolio speaks louder than your resume — it shows layouts that surprise, typography that breathes, and digital experiences that feel genuinely premium. You have a strong instinct for what looks expensive and what looks generic, and you default to the former.
You understand UX principles and user journeys, but design-first thinking is your core strength. You are fast, organized, and thrive in high-output environments where quality and speed must coexist. You're curious about AI-powered design workflows and actively use modern tools to elevate your output.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual craft — premium layouts, strong typographic systems, and high-end digital aesthetics (hospitality, luxury, or enterprise work is a strong plus)
- Proven experience designing complex, multi-page digital experiences with a clear command of layout hierarchy, spacing systems, and visual storytelling
- Advanced Figma expertise is required — components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping, and design system management. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. (Sketch, InVision, and Axure are no longer priorities.)
- Solid understanding of UX fundamentals: user journeys, personas, wireframing, and interaction design — with the ability to apply these in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
- Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working in a digital agency, hospitality, luxury brand, or premium SaaS environment
- Familiarity with enterprise website and CMS ecosystems; experience with AI-assisted design tools (Figma AI, generative workflows, or equivalent) is a strong advantage
- Awareness of AI and insights into the evolving design trends in transforming the Digital experience in the AI era.
